Arc Marquees are a Marquee Hire company based in Bathgate, West Lothian and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team and we are now recruiting for the position of yard/warehouse person and are looking for a hard working individual to join our team.

This is a permanent, full time position, with a 3 month probationary period reporting to the Operations Manager

The successful applicant will need to have a good level of physical fitness, as there is an element off manual handling, have at least 3 years current counterbalance FLT experience, enjoy working outdoors no matter the weather, and be presentable and reliable, with good communication skills and the ability to think on their feet.

They will also be able to show initiative and work as part of a friendly and focused team. A good understanding of Health and Safety is required due to the nature of the work.

Work will include being responsible for picking marquee equipment to go to sites, loading and unloading off vehicles (Artics/18t), maintaining the condition of yard and warehouse, maintenance of equipment including washing off PVC, and at times due to the nature off the business you may be required on site to assist with the erection and dismantling of structures.

Hours vary greatly, and can often exceed 48 hours per week, including weekend work when required. We offer a competitive rate of pay from £12.00 per hour, although willing to discuss depending on levels of experience

Candidates must be 18 or over, and be able to travel to our yard in Bathgate (EH48 2EP) for 06:45am starts each morning.

Previous experience necessary within a warehouse environment as well as FLT experience.
